If you’re heading to a baby shower and are looking for the perfect gift, you’re in the right place! We’re here with 3 different ideas that everyone will love and it will suit lots of different budgets too. You want something that is a wonderful welcome for the baby into the world but also something that is for the parents as its such a huge change for them, so they deserve to be looked after too! So, prepare to be inspired with our baby shower gift ideas!
A Gift Hamper
Firstly, a great gift idea is to create a gift basket with lots of cute bits in it. You can get a basket for a really affordable price and then you can literally suit it to any budget, from £10 to £100 or more if you’re getting a gift as a group. You could start with some cute tissue paper, then choose things like cute outfits, muslin cloths, socks, some of the parents favourite snacks and pamper products, nursery room accessories and so much more. This way, you’re including pieces for both the parents and the baby, so it’ll be really special. You can get pre-made baby gift sets and hampers if you’re not too sure what to put in and are looking for some inspiration for the main bits, then you can just top up from there!
A Personalised Book
Another lovely gift is to choose a personalised book! Now, if you’re going to the baby shower, you probably won’t know what the baby’s name will be for sure, but we’d say to choose your favourite childhood book, then write a meaningful message in the front. Perhaps a piece of advice someone has told you or your favourite thing about the baby’s parents, to just give them something that the parents use when the baby is young but then when they grow up, they’d be able to cherish it. If you’re organising the baby shower, asking people to do this instead of bringing a card can be so lovely and meaningful!
A Baby Photoshoot
If you’re clubbing together for a gift, or you have a higher budget, then such a lovely gift is to book a baby photoshoot. The newborn stage can be tough and chaotic, so we’d definitely recommend getting them a voucher so they can use it whenever they’re ready rather than going ahead and booking an appointment. This is such a great way to capture the baby when they’re really little and usually there will also be some shots with the parents if they want them too. It’s such a wonderful way to mark their entry into the world and something the parents can treasure forever. Just make sure that you look for a studio that also includes some photos for them to take home, as many you just pay for the actual photoshoot and then you can be charged a fortune to pay for the photos, then that’s not so much of a gift!
